But its holding company name and publicly traded name was Burlington Northern
Industries. So officially only the SF disappeared.

Actually, it is no longer Burlington Northern Santa Fe. If I recall correctly,
in 2007 they changed the name to BNSF Railway. So the "Burlington" part
officially disappeared a couple of years ago.
