Steve, I wonder if FRA and the folks currently running Metra realize that those cab cars were built for a million pound buff load as compared to the 800,000 pounds spec. to which later cars are being built.? Indeed, they are more crash worthy, than anything else running today! The only other vehicles built with a comparable buff load are the locomotives.
