According to my records, SW9 9269 remained in the as delivered scheme (EW/WZ on
hood with yellow/red frame stripe, no Scotchlite chevrons) until the BN merger.
So if Walthers does the same scheme on 9269 as done on the previous run SW1200
run, this is correct for all Q modeler's eras.
The 9270 received BURLINGTON on the hood sometime prior to ca. 1965, as well as
Scotchlite frame chevrons. I would ove to see P2K do the 9270 in the later
scheme as the only "BURLINGTON" hooded switchers so far that I know of are the
Kato NW2's. For a shot of 9270 go to the Denver public library photos website,
