An interesting note on the difference between the SW7's and the SW1200's. Some of the SW7's have all weather windows on both sides, some had beacons and some had the horns on the cab roof, not to mention the two different antennas. Diesel Era May/June 2005 has a great article n the 7's. I've spotted firecracker antennas on some switchers... -What is the round structure on top of the long hood between the vents? Is that the antenna? -Beacon light? I'm also curious to find out if the unit, 9280, survived into the BNSF system and what it was renumbered.
