[CBQ] Car 57 news

Hi to all
Just the regular old stuff....
we have ordered all of the wood for the exterior rebuild of our baby, this will 
be milled to speck in Grand Island and should be with us in a few weeks. This 
is exciting stuff as it will transform the look of the car as well as provide 
vital weatherproofing. We are still $1100.00 short on the wood fund so if you 
can help in any way we would be overjoyed to hear from you.
Our next mountain to climb is providing a temporary home for the car under 
cover. So we are appealing for help from anyone who may be in a position to 
assist in sponsoring this. Around $10,000 would see the car enclosed completely 
and maybe if we could stretch to a 50' x 100' building then we could house two 
cars !!!???   We feel that 120 years in the open is well long enough for our 
car and its time for a well earned climate controlled retirement. We would also 
be looking into taking on some projects for outside groups as well. These cars 
deserve to be indoors and looked after as the treasures they are. So if you 
know af any company or individual who might like to help out a not for profit 
and recieve copious advertising in return then please let me know.
