The only color photo of Savanna depot of which I am aware is in Spoor's
CB&Q in Color, Vol. 2, pp. 66-67. I think you are already aware of
that. This is a nice photo, but was taken on a misty day, and so the
brick and roof colors look kind of gray.
Recently, I contacted the NMRA's Kalmbach Memorial Library. They report
having no plans or photos of the Savanna depot in their archives. They
mentioned Spoor's book, and also contacting the Savanna Municipal
Library. I have not done that as yet, however.
Recently I came upon a photo at LocoPhotos.com that shows background
structures at Savanna Army depot just up the river link provided below.
My thought is that the bricks of the powerhouse in the left of this
photo are similar to those of the Savanna depot, and that the bricks of
the warehouse to the right of this photo are too red.

I wonder if your research has turned up anything else, and if you have
discovered a paint formula to match these colors?
