Ray, I remember Bill hosting a gathering during the NMRA National Convention in
San Jose. I made arrangements to attend Bill's CBQ
gathering and I met many people whose names I recognized,, but did not know. It
was a grand day. I believe Bill picked me up at
the light rail station and his wife graciously took me back to the train
station so I could return to the convention center. I
believe I may have been the only one from out of state. I was the guy from Iowa
in awe of the modelers and historians I met that
day.
