Recently there was a discussion and questions about where construction of  
the Aurora Branch RR started.
 
I am re-reading "Historic Batavia" copyright 1980 by Gustafson and  Schielke. 
On pg. 37 it is stated that"Sept 2,1850 the Aurora Branch was finished  from 
Turner Junction to Batavia" later it also notes "in November the line was  
completed to Aurora.
No footnotes are given.
