I am a new member to the yahoo group. Dad was a member of the BRHS
for many years. He passed away back on July 30 at 1:35 AM due to
medical complications. I have a soft spot also with the Q as my
grandfather worked the Daytons Bluff Yard in St. Paul, MN. And dad
had a long relationship with the STPFD. And if any of you want to
take a look there are 31 photos of the funeral processional on the
St. Paul Fire Dept. webpage at www.iafflocal21.org . Click on the
photo gallery on the left side of the homepage, and look there. They
also built a ramp here at the house so he could come home last year.
I know this is "non-railroad related". But dad had also sent several
authors slides over the years for CB&Q books that were published by
Morning Sun. And I am not a BRHS member myself as of yet. But when I
get the chance I will sign up. There is also a "guest book" that you
can sign on the St. Paul Pioneer Press homepage. The date you will
want to enter for the obituary is August 6, or August 7 2008. Website
