If you're old enough to remember Fibber's closet, you'll appreciate
my experience in opening a storage cabinet full of Q stuff that I no
longer need. The following items are for sale:
Three station maps, each $30 postpaid:
Aurora, a CB&Q map dated 1954 covering trackage from Wood Street on
the east to the mainline split on the west; one sheet 17' long!
Savanna, a BN map dated 1970 covering trackage from Plum Creek to
west of the former station grounds; four sheets.
Rochelle, a BN map still dated 1941, but clearing in the late Q or BN
era as the coal chute is gone and the house track is truncated; one
sheet 12' long.
Brass clear vision tender for 0-8-0 picked up from Roy Schnoor,
painted and lettered for #542--we speculate its an old Tenshodo Q
tender, $35 plus UPS.
Brass Oriental Ltd. O1A tender shell (no frame) with coal boards bent
inward, $15 plus UPS.
NKP Car Co. BA10 baggage car kit, $50 plus UPS.
NKP Car Co. BA19 baggage car (with rider compartment) kit, $50 plus
UPS.
Bethlehem Car Works AT&SF short baggage-express car (202-205) that I
intended to convert to one of the Q's 40' wood truss rod cars (see p.
137 in Bill Glick's photo album), $30 plus UPS.
