No boulders as they will not fit on the belt under the cars.

? I am not sure just how big of rock it can handle but I doubt the really
big rip rap will work. The UP used two of these dump trains to fill in their
60 foot deep hole at the Cedar River bridge. Two trains worth hardly made a
dent in the hole. I?hope this one isn't as bad.

hi all
took the airplane ride that are being at the locate airport here in
burlington of the flood waters.I was able to see that the area around the
old underpass that i thought was the wash out is still in tact.before we
left the airport there was rj corman pilot of there helicopter there and we
got to talking and i was told the break is to the west of the old under pass
three hundred feet long effectiving both mainlines.current river stage is
24.6 i was told they could not go to work until the river drops eleven
feet.the are gathering equipment at south street here in burlington.rock is
being delivered to a loading aera at the west burlington shops.also
equipment and rock is being gather at gladstone so the can work toward each
other.they are talking about using the geogre town dump train with the belt
in delivery.does anybody know if this train can handle rip rap?
