Bill,

? I am not sure just how big of rock it can handle but I doubt the really big
rip rap will work. The UP used two of these dump trains to fill in their 60
foot deep hole at the Cedar River bridge. Two trains worth hardly made a dent
in the hole. I?hope this one isn't as bad.

? Steven

hi all

took the airplane ride that are being at the locate airport here in burlington
of the flood waters.I was able to see that the area around the old underpass
that i thought was the wash out is still in tact.before we left the airport
there was rj corman pilot of there helicopter there and we got to talking and i
was told the break is to the west of the old under pass three hundred feet long
effectiving both mainlines.current river stage is 24.6 i was told they could
not go to work until the river drops eleven feet.the are gathering equipment at
south street here in burlington.rock is being delivered to a loading aera at
the west burlington shops.also equipment and rock is being gather at gladstone
so the can work toward each other.they are talking about using the geogre town
dump train with the belt in delivery.does anybody know if this train can handle
rip rap?
