Steve,
The Burlington Depot is owned by the city and is used a the amtrak station, but
if the happens probably not after 2010, and local city bus station. It has
been partially restored with new roof and heating system. It needs purchased
from the city restore fully and something put in it R.R. orientated to keep it
around a long time.

What will happen to the Burlington passenger depot?

The Burlington bridge has long been a problem for barge shipping.

Back in 2001 Dave Lotz posted an email about BNSF seeking a bid for

replacing the swing section with a lift section.

Has anyone heard anything more on this?
