Robey Street Yard was the B&OCT yard North of the C&NW Wood Street Yard(the
potato yard) which was North of the Q Western Ave Yard at Western Ave. Most
of the Q Western Ave yard was south of the mains and these two other yards
were North of the engine facility,frt hosue and the remainder of the Q yard
North of the mains.
My sister-in-laws, father-in-law was a 40 plus year B&OCT man. He's told me
the curves in Robey Street were every bit as bad as at Mendota on the Q
Leo
