To all of those interested - John Whitmore of Kaslo Shops has posted a
picture of the assembled (with trucks, motor, and fuel tank) U25C
chassis that fits under the Rivarossi shell at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/u25cproject/. He also indicated that
they have cleared their last hurdle prior to production and are ready
to go, indicating that his next post at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/u25cproject/ should be a notice that the
units are shipping.
The chassis is nice. It's very simple and the trucks look good. This
should result in the ability to produce some very nice U25C and U28C
models based on the old Riv body that will finally play nicely with
other models.
Purchase instructions are in the files section of the group. There is
also a set of etched metal detail parts and dimpled walkways available.
