Your post was great!! Why, you ask? Because you mention running over
the bridge in Oregon in a C&S U30C. I model the Chicago to Mpls/StP
line and Oregon is part of my layout. I bought all four Atlas U30C's
(yes, all four - I think the C&S U30C's were awesome looking - even if
they did not ride well in real life). Anyway, I have always been
trying to figure out an "excuse" to run them on the line through
Oregon and Savanna, like "It's a shakedown run after being serviced in
Chicago." But now it sounds like I don't need to figure out an
"excuse". Your post indicates they did run the Savanna line on a
regular basis. 

Can you please elaborate on when this was, and why and how the C&S
U30C's ended up on the line?
