Hey Steve The "Q" NW2's  were never red at all but FW&D  #605  was red with 
"Burlington" on both sides  the pics were taken in Witchita Falls Tx and 
Amarillo, Tx   on sep30,1972 and oct2,1967 this is the ONLY red NW switcher 
connected with the "Q" ever hope this is helpful    Railswest aka Dick
