Bob, The Francis interchange point was actually a couple of miles from Francis
at Mexico. That is where we would make a pick up to add to our train as we
made a crew change there. We would leave the GM&O tracks at Francis and go
across the High Line to Old Monroe and then on into East St Louis. On the
westward trips we would make a setout at Mexico and turn the train over to the
Brookfield men who took the train on to Kansas City. At least that was how we
did it in the 60s. Archie

Subject: [CBQ] Interchange with GM&O
Hi list,
I am trying to determine how many locations the CB&Q and GM&O
interchanged with each other in 1971, and in how many states. Any
ideas? Thanks for your time.
Best regards,
Stan
