Sorry, but the picture on page 13 in Dorin's book does not show the white on
the walkway. You can see on that photo that the white stops at the walkway and
finishes out on the vertical step shield that's an extension of the battery
box. The 1973 BN Annual shows U23C's on page 50 and the walkways are green with
no white on them, only on the vertical surfaces. John

It looks to me that the walkways are Green and the White Stripe does extend
out over the walkway.
I would imagine the U23C follow the same pattern.
