Just received word on an event that is coming up soon and that due to time
constraints we will not be able to get in any of the publications to members
so am sending this to the BRHS site to get the word out. If there are any of
you out there who are on the CBQ list perhaps you could send this to that
list also. Those of you who live in the area might be interested in
attending.

MEMORIAL DISPLAY
DEDICATION
You are cordially invited to attend the Union Depot Railroad Museum
dedication of the display of Dave Beck's HO CB&Q engine, waycar and rolling
stock collection. The program will honor the memory of Mr. Beck, a long
time member of the Burlington Route Historical Society and a model
railroading master craftsman.
The dedication will be an opportunity to see his highly detailed
craftsmanship. You will be able to closely observe this collection of over
thirty steam engines and over twenty waycars. Also included in the display
are representative examples of his rolling stock, diesels, passenger cars
and maintenance-of-way equipment.
After the ceremony the museum's other displays will be open to the public
for inspection.
