Purington Brick also had a big clay pit in Blue Island. Was between 119th St to 
123rd and  Rock Island main line (east side) and their "Suburban Line" to the 
west. There  was another brick yard along B&OCT in Blue Island, don't know if 
that was Purington as well.
   
  North end of RI yard was known as Purington.
