I used ModelFlex Reefer Orange to paint several Kato 2 bay covered
hoppers for sand service. The decal set I used for the CB&Q MOW
lettering was MicroScale 87-1197 for Orange Waycars and MOW cars. (you
can see the decal sheet on-line at:
http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=87-1197&Category_Code=CBQ&Product_Count=24
Since the set does not have data, I used a Champ data set for covered
hoppers (can't remember which one, but I have it at home).
Be advised that the decals are just a shade too big - the herald
barely fits between the car ribs and if doing a sand service car, the
"Sand Service Only" and "Return to Wedron" are also a bit too wide,
but the results are still pretty good.
What hoppers were you planning on doing?
