I have an HO SW7 loco that I am planning on painting in the blackbird
CB&Q colors. My modelling period is app. 1972 after the merger took
place. Microscale offers the following decals 87-609 & 610 for 1950-
1970 and 87-659 for 1964-70. What would be correct for my era and what
is the difference between 659 and 609? Are they for different color
schemes?

Also,I have seen several pictures of switchers with wagon wheel type
antennas. Were these still used in the early 1970s?

I also have a U30B project HO loco. The number boards of these units
had black letters on a white background. What was the correct font
used for the number board?
