IIRC the Bulletin on the E Units had the drawing for the application of
grabirons on the nose.
The long grab above the toe rail will have to be custom built as I don't think
anyone makes that
part in HO...

I want to do some diesel detailing. I checked BB #10 on the E's and
couldn't find any answer to these questions. Hope perhaps someone can
  help:

  1. Does anyone know the spacing on the nose grab irons on the E-units?

  2. DOes anyone know the width of the grab irons used on the nose (15",
  16", etc.)?

  3. There is an angled metal "walkway" along the frame sill between the
fireman's side door and the nose grab irons. Does anyone know the
dimensions on this, primarily the width of the angle "ledge" you would
  walk on?

  4. Does anyone make an E-unit detailing kit in HO that might have the
under window long grab? I know Cal-Scale makes a detail kit but I
don't know what is in it or how good the parts are. I have ordered a
couple of the Walthers f-Unit detailing kits which have the over
  windshield grabs.

Finally, if anyone has done a similar detail project, I would be
interested in hearing how you did it.
