Duncan,
I'm planning on the 1950-1953 time period. I want to be able to run
Mark Twain Zephyr (I'll use a Con-Cor Pioneer Zephyr as a stand-in)
and I don't want to have to worry about running steam. At the moment
I'm in the process of developing a track plan. I can figure out some
of the important features and industry locations from Rob's web site,
such as the Union Depot, Rock Island freight depot, Hubingers and
Northestern Seed Co; but I'm not certain which other industries to
represent for this time period. Also what industries were located on
the branch line? Finally, is the Rock Island Map of Keokuk on Rob's
site appropriate for the 50's?
Thanks,
Dave Longman

probably help significantly. Keokuk seems to be an increasingly
popular subject for a model railroad. I've been working on mine now
for 8 or 9 years. Rob's site has been a great source for vintage
photos of structures. Do you have a specific time frame in mind?
