I called Walthers today and talked to Jerry Roy. Hew as a BIG HELP.
Sent me detailed instructions on how to remove the boiler.

Unlike conventional loco's - brass and Rivarossi and others - you
start by butting the loco "RIGHT SIDE UP", remove the sand dome,
remove the screw under the sand dome and lift the upper half of the
boiler off. Then it involves removing the PC borad, weight and lower
half of the boiler shell.

It's will be somewhat time consuming, but not impossible.

Will keep you posted as I finish the disassembly - as I stopp after
removing the upper half.

If anyone want the instructions, I suggest you contact Walthers
direct at 1-886-833-1468 or if you contact me OFF LIST, I wll email
you the info.
