I recently purchased an undecorated 2-10-2 by Walthers - Proto2000
with sound. It runs great and the sound system in fantastic.

Now I want to disassemble it for modifing and painting. I'm going to
do either 6300 with a Worthington feedwater heater or 6308 with an
Elesco feedwater heater.

Anyway, has anyone on the list disassemble this monster yet? I can not
figure out how to remove the drivers from the body. I was able to
remove the tender shell so I can correct this to a Q tender. It's the
engine that I have not yet figured out. And as usually, the
instructions with the parts breakdown is not of any help.

Thanks
Ray Bedard

PS I do have a call into Walthers. If I get them to help me, I will
post the information.
