I'm not sure I would be too concerned over the correct "note". With the
doppler effect the note could vary

Thanks for your reply, James. Unfortunately, my copy of Silver
Streak didn't come with my Con-Cor, and doesn't have the Tracks
Ahead segment.
Could you do me a favor? When you have a moment, listen to that
DVD and tell me if the chime is a single note. If you have a musical
instrument such as a piano, maybe you can tell me the note (s).
In the meantime, I'll try to locate the Tracks Ahead in question.
Maybe I can buy the Con-Cor DVD.
