I concur.  I caught the Nebraska Zephyr in Red Oak twice in the 50s to make the 
trip to Chicago.  Arrived in RO early morning, as I recall.

  Wasn't this the typical slot of the "Nebraska Zephyr"? A 1962 TT shows it
  leaving
  Omaha late morning and getting to Chicago early evening.
