At least one of the Silver Dome namboards is on the wall inside the Mad River
Railway Museum.
The car itself is under cover but inside an open-air building adjacent to the
enclosed main building.

Do not look for the name plate from Silver Dome. Amtk shipped it to Blackhawk
Chapter NRHS when they removed it and it laid in my garage for years till the
guys from Ft. Wayne came and got it

After working for a railroad for 30 years and being a
railfan/modeler for a lietime believe me when I say
"Railroads don't throw anythang away.". Those
letterboards and plates are still at Beach Grove
shops, someplace. A scanvenger hunt there wouild be
fun, bring a large trailer to haul away the loot. CY
