There was an antique dealer in Burlington, Iowa that bought an UP caboose
and was going to paint it in CBQ colors but his caboose didn't look like it
had bay windows. If you do a google search for Antiques by Roth Burlington
Iowa you'll find the web page and if scroll to the bottom you will see his
caboose.

Rupert, I think what Bill saw was an extended vision cupola waycar. The bay
window waycar you mentioned was at Hannibal sometime around the merger and
we would take it out the Old Jo Main to do the city work (service the
industries). I have the old cast iron sink and marker brackets off of this
car. Archie

The Burlington's only bay window waycar was #14700, converted in 1959 from
wrecked XM-26 boxcar #16847. It was renumbered to BN 11274 and painted
green, and retired in 1972.
The FW&D had one - #82 (2nd) - a rebuild of conventional waycar #82 that
had
been destroyed in a fire in 1967. The rebuild used truck doors as part of
the bay, and windows from an E-5 and an F-7. It apparently survived until
1983
