I hate this century..... had to go to jury duty downtown after not being 
there for years and found the Telephone Company
Headquarters buildings had balconies with barbeque grills on them.....  the 
whole place started to go to Hell in a Handbasket
when All Nations Hobby Shop closed in 1978.  Now there is no reason to go 
there... nothing but Starbucks and Condos and
thirty-somethings wandering around in a daze with cellphones and Ipods glued 
to their ears....
There isn't a railroad station in Chicago that doesn't look like a foodcourt 
in a suburban shopping mall.... and Mayor Daley wants
to get rid of the St.Charles Airline because the trains disturb all the 
people living in 400k+ townhouses built on former railroad
terminal property to the north of the tracks.
