  Sorry for the late reply but I have this set on a digest. The WFE was owned 
by the Great Northern just as the BRE was owned by the Q and FGE was owned by 
13 or so railroads when I worked for them. The three companies had common 
management in Washington, D.C.
   
  The MNX's meat rails had not been removed when they were being loaded with 
spuds.
   
  I can't remember for sure if I did see MNX cars passing through Peoria when I 
worked there.
