The Q had a lot of 40' double door composite auto cars. Rather than try 
to list here the numerous types I  would suggest getting the "Railway 
Prototype Cyclopedia" Vol 12 which has an excellent article on them.

In 1946 the Q built 500 double door all steel auto care class XA-16, no. 
39000-39499. In 1954 100 cars were coverted to boxcars. By 1965 all 500 
had been converted to boxcars and renumbered to 9000-9499, I don't know 
date of renumbering.
