In N scale CB&Q news from Trainfest: Intermountain had samples of their F3 graybacks. They looked nice, but darker than their HO cousins. Taking into account that N scale items need to be lighter colored than larger scales, they looked really dark to me. And it was a brownish kind of darker, not just a darker gray. Precision Craft Models had a sound equipped E7 running in a loop. I thought it looked and sounded good. I wish I had pre-ordered both with sound now, instead of 1 with and 1 without. Perhaps upgrading will be possible, either with PCM parts or replacing the decoder with a sound equipped one. There were probably others that I missed. jim ------------------------ Yahoo!
