Just a heads up to let you know of yet another article on CB&Q
equipment.
I was at my local hobby shop and picked up issue #12 of the Railway
Prototype Cyclopedia.
This issue has two articles are of intrest to CB&Q modelers/historians.
The first one is on the XA class of wood sheathed automobile box cars
and is co-authored buy the late Rod "Bat" Masterson, Hol Wagner and Al
Hoffman.
Great quality and intresting reading!
The second deals with the FGE/BRE/WFE wartime reefers, and is co-
authored by Bill Welch, Ed Hawkins and Patric Wider.
Again great quality (and the only color reefer pics are "Q") and great
reading!
I am in no way connected with the publisher of this book. Just want to
keep my fellow BRHS members/Q modelers informed of what is available.
