I think it looks very professional.
For others I would think you could edit the center for the stations you want 
and print it up.  How hard is it to edit??  Normally the loading would appear 
in the column with the train and would depend on the office practice.
Loads/Empties/tons  For model purposes you could just use the number of cars.  
When the RR's used 40 foot cars it was easy to figure out if a train would fit 
in a siding.  Often in the CTC we would have a train pull in and take after the 
train to meet arrived take the switch off power so could clear.  But that was 
when we had waycars and brakemen.
While weather my not seem to play a part it can be used to throw a monkey 
wrench in an other wise smooth running op session.  It makes it more fun
