BN 9973 and 9976 have been donated by MARC to the Illinois Railway Museum and
the rumored plan is to restore at least one of them to black and silver. The
department may need to "part out" the second to get it done, but the units are
in Illinois and on rail waiting for the time to begin the work. The diesel crew
just brought out their repainted switcher last weekend for diesel weekend, and
she looks great!
