Tom, the CB&Q ran a mail-baggage-express with rider coach train called the 
Coloradoan.
This train was combined with the Nebraska Zephyr as far as Lincoln, and all 
the MBE traffic on the head end continued west from there to Denver. I don't 
recall the dates, but check your public time tables in the late fifties--early 
sixties.   Jim N.
