The next loco, No. 45 was originally H&St.J. No. 22, built in the CB&Q?s
Hannibal shops in 1886. In 1898, it became No. 622, and in 1904 CB&Q No.
45. During the period 1915 to 1918, the Q rebuilt a number of A-1 and A-2
class locomotives, when finished they were all classed A-2. No. 45 became
No. 455 after it was rebuilt in Aurora during 1918. It was retired in July
of 1933.
