Keith and List,
That photo is not the Pioneer Zephyr #9900. The cab windows are straight
across, the Pioneer Zephyr was the only Budd Shovel Nose that had the "beetle
brow" windshields. I always wondered after the two wrecks where the front end
of
#9900 was pretty much destroyed the Burlington chose to keep the cab windows as
built.
That photo is most likely the Mark Twain Zephyr.
