1949 became the Q's big Centennial celebration, special covers on
the public TT's that year, etc. However among those who collect
CB&Q wall calendars there is a perplexing problem; no one seems to
be able to find a 1949 issue! "48 & before, no problem; 1950 &
after, ditto. Does anyone know definitely whether there was a "49
calendar OR why one was not issued? (if such is indeed the case).
I've looked thru Zephyrs published that yr and no mention is made
one way or the other. Tks for assistance! Gerald
PS - what's the oldest Wall calendar any one reading this has in his
collection or has seen anywhere?
