Vol. 2 of Spoor's series cover this route extensively. C&I ran from
Chicago to Forreston, later cut back to Mt. Morris; CB&N ran from
Oregon to Twin Cities. GN trains ran over the route for many yrs; NP
ran over C&NW for a few yrs in the early 1900's and ran mail over
