The Milw line was the Ashdale Cutoff, which was a bypass 
around Savanna. It linked Ashdale, located west of Lanark on the 
Elgin-Savanna mainline, with Ebner on the Savanna-East Moline 
line. Eventually, Milw trains would find their way to the Davenport, 
Rock Island & North Western (DRI&NW), the Dri line.
