Subject: [CBQ] MTZ assignments during 1937-38

I'm trying to sort out the Mark Twain Zephyr's assignments during 1937
and 38 after it came off the Advanced Denver Zephyr run in December,
1936. Apparently in late 1938, it was assigned to the Ozark State
Zephyr run, but what about the interim? I've seen mention that it
returned to its original Burlington - St. Louis run after the ADZ stint,
but the public timetable I have from the summer of 1937 still bears a
notation that the MTZ is temporarily assigned to other service. Yet
unless I missed it, I don't find other evidence of its reassignment in
that TT (unless either the Sam Houston or Ozark State Zephyrs were
assigned more than one train set). I do not have any public TT for late
1937 or 1938 to shed further light on this question, so any help you can
provide will be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards, Rob Adams
