Not only can you interchange them at Denver and Pueblo, you can run
whole trains along the Colorado front ranges between those two cities
using motive power and equipment from both railroads. Many times, in
fact, the power was mixed, with AT&SF and CB&Q (or C&S/FW&D) engines
serving as helpers on one another's trains. Occasionally you can even
throw in some D&RGW power too (if that interests you). Plus the
scenery is real pretty! In other words, it's a neat place to model.
