Two Questions: 

During which time period did the Q employ the simulated fluting 
scheme on its smooth side cars ? Were these experimental schemes on 
just a few cars or was there a period in which it was the defacto 
standard ?

When did the Q adopt the all silver paint schemes on its streamline 
cars ? The examples I am thinking of here are the havelock baggage 
and ex-C&NW coaches.
