As I said in BB #35, when Mr. Murphy came to
Centralia, he called the old timers by first name and
they called him by his first name, MISTER. That was
out of respect, not because they had to! I never met
him, but I knew a lot of the fellows who remembered
him from his Division Engineer days (including some
section foremen who worked for him).
