IIRC, my grandfather worked at an Ice House on the Q
somewhere around Berwyn. It might have been the one
in question at Clyde Yard. I will see him either this
weekend or next week. I will ask him and see what he
remembers. He never told me he worked on the railroad
until last month. He backed himself into a corner
with that one! So, I'll see what he has to say and
I'll post it here.
