It would be very interesting to take some different E Unit models down to St.
Louis to compare to the real E8/9 that is there. I'm just not knowledgable
enough with E / F unit noses to know what makes for a good model of an E unit.
I suspect the contours of the EMD bulldog nose might be one of the hardest
things to replicate in miniature. I want to say Paul Lubliner with Highliners
measured more than one F-units's nose to come up with an average for his
drawings. That might be the best of all the model EMD noses. I've even heard
of
people grafting a Highliner nose onto a Proto E-unit body.
